Scott Ferry

I was born in a small town on the edge of Orange County and Los Angeles County, an in-between space within a vast world of haunted places, magick, and urban tales. Being an introverted child and I found myself quite at home in old houses, cemeteries, and the dark places of nature. My interest in art started very young and I took it as a way to unleash my imagination. In the 90‘s with my mind deep into Runes , Chaos Magick and the outer realms I molded my technique of using ink on paper. Inspired largely by Austin Osman Spare and questing to unleash each artwork as living entities and servitors. From there I journeyed into tantric vajrayana and farther into a molding of diverse styles of magick and psyche exploration. voodoo, runes, seidhr, possession, witchcraft, and sorcery. All of this has seeped into my artwork in many degrees.

My artwork then became a doorway for my own mythology and system of working for any to enter and who would look closer. The characters I draw become living spirits and sigils most of which are displayed in my current work. to open doorways to other realms and knowledge.

Apart from showcasing my watercolor painting and ink drawings in various galleries or group shows I also have two online stores.
